Jonathan Bretherton, Chief Executive
A chartered surveyor with a pedigree and track record in major redevelopment schemes with Young Group plc, the Banks Group and the Greenbelt Group. Formerly deputy chief executive of Sunderland arc Urban Regeneration Company where he led a variety of teams in developing projects in excess of £500M. Jonathan is a board member of Malvern Theatres Trust and Hereford Enterprise Zone.
Peter Clasby, Programme Manager
Peter is a Chartered Town Planner, who started work for the City of Westminster, before moving to South Shropshire Council, and then onto Herefordshire Council in 2004. He joined Hereford Futures in the summer of 2010 as Urban Design Manager.
Ros Fallon, PA to Chief Executive and Graphic Design
Ros joined the company at its inception in 2006 having returned to Herefordshire from the South East. As well as holding various administrative posts, she has worked as an insurance professional and export manager during her career. Alongside her work as PA to the Chief Executive and Chairman, Ros carries out some of the graphics work for the company.
Stephanie Kitto BSc (Hons) LCGI, Urban Planner and Social Media
Stephanie first worked with Hereford Futures in 2009 as an Assistant Planner as part of a year-long work placement. During this period she provided considerable input to a number of activities including the Old Livestock Market redevelopment. After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in City & Regional Planning, she returned to the company to take up the position of Urban Planner. Steph also deals with social media activity.
Julia Lawrence, Projects Manager
Julia spent 17 years with chartered accountants, PKF, in their Birmingham and Worcester offices. During this time, she was involved in marketing, including various DoTI development and funding initiatives. After PKF, Julia took on a sales and marketing role before moving to a publishing company where she was responsible for office management and shows/exhibitions. Julia returned to Hereford in 2006, after having spent two years in Bristol where she was office manager for a leading firm of pension consultants and administrators.
Charles Pickles, Project Engineer
Charles has lived in the county for many years and joined the company in November 2006, following a full military career in the Royal Engineers. He led many major infrastructure projects throughout the world and brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning and delivery, and in restoration of infrastructure during and in the aftermath of conflict. His keen personal interest in the natural environment and sustainability complements this experience and brings a sympathetic approach to working with Hereford’s considerable assets.
